A particular insect, maybe a grasshopper doing this sound which i use as background atoms instead of the typical cricket. Recorded stereo on zoom h4 on board mics, i edited it to remove some of the hiss.

Opening plastic product packaging. Extracted from recording done with zoom h1 microphone during product unboxing for my channel on youtube. Audio was extracted from the original file and edited with audacity for noise removal and normalization for peak removal.

I was at a wedding reception recently, and since i am always toting around my handy dandy backpack which contains my zoom h4n, i decided i would record some ambience. This sound is loopable.

Interior stereo field-recording, inside a german "s-bahn" between two underground stations in stuttgart, germany. Door close and open, some hum. Announcement at 4:29. Uncompressed 16bit, 48khz, zoom h4.

This is the sound of a security man from the upf campus of poblenou walking through the sidewalk and moving his keys. The background noise it's due to the wind and the cars. Recorded using zoom h4, normalized with audacity and adde fade-in and fade-out, at 13:30.

This was recorded at the san giorgi in braida church along the adige river in verona, italy. I used a zoom h1 set on the top of a pew a few seats away from where i sat. The organist was practicing at nearly the other end of the church, hence the atmospheric and distant audio quality.

Description of collection :dji mavic mini 2 sounds. Recorded on a zoom h5 stock xy mic. No editing not even normalizing, just chopped up segments in audacity. I apologise some recordings may have footsteps sounds, and remote blips (maybe the latter is good and more authentic). Mic may have been places either pointing left-right, or up-down, or both pointing up. Microphone wasn't on the floor, but set on a bench. Recorded indoor. About 5 minutes of ambient audio of surf crashing on the rocks of hokitika beach near sunset point. Recorded with a zoom h1 in february 2017. I do state the location and date at the very end - so be sure to clip it if you use this! there are no other sounds like cars, people, or airplanes. Just surf breaking on the rocks!.

While making field recordings on the harvest moon trail in wolfville, ns, a bunch of kids rode past on their way to school. A few said hello. The stereo on the bikes going past is nice. These could be used as substitutes for whoosh types of audio effects. Recorded with a zoom h1n with windscreen at 24-bit 48khz resolution and cleaned up in izotope rx. Enjoy!.

I've used a lot of sounds from this site over the years so i thought it was about time i gave something back:). Field recording on h4n zoom recorder as a concrete was spayed against the wire frame of our in ground pool. This has been normalized, equalized and compressed in audacity. A warm, canadian prairie day near the banks of the south saskatchewan river. The birds are chirping, insects are buzzing, the tall grass is rustling, a light wind blows through the trees. Recorded directly through my zoom h4n.

Ambience from a terrace in barcelona city, sunset. Light traffic and birds (pidgeons and others) in the distance, there's also a monotonous high pitch repetitive sound (machine like). Some coughs, dog barks, building noises in the distance as well. Recorded in 32bits with a zoom f3 and a pair of clippies, omni.

This is the closest i could get to the ambient sound of a borg cube. I tried hard to replicate it and this is the end result. Originally recorded on an old zoom h2.

While recording birds at the south sutor above cromarty, black isle, highlands, scotland on may 7th 2014 about 3pm a raf sea king came along to practice cliff rescues nearby to my annoyance so recorded it instead. It hovered behind the trees nearby before heading towards the cliff did a lower and lift and then swept round in large circle before heading back over the sea to the base at lossiemouth. Recorded using a zoom h2n recorder and software provided with recorder called wavelab. No alteration or special effects used.
